Fundraising and Marketing Graduate Scheme

London
, Graduate Placement

We are looking for bright and driven individuals who can use their exceptional marketing and fundraising experience to help us beat cancer sooner.

At Cancer Research UK (CRUK) we have an ambitious goal: to accelerate progress in cancer research and see 3/4 of people beat cancer in the next 20 years. To achieve this, raising funds through our brand, marketing, fundraising, philanthropy and partnerships is truly vital. Our graduate opportunities are truly unique. With a commercial strength equivalent to a FTSE 350 company, we are Number 2 in the Guardian UK 300 and are one of the UK’s most widely recognised brands – currently ranked at Number 2 in the Charity Brand Index. We reach and engage millions of supporters through bold marketing strategies, exceptional fundraising efforts and incredible partnerships, which directly funds and supports our world-class, life-saving research. We do this through our Fundraising & Marketing directorate, leading the sector in mass charitable giving, and through our Philanthropy & Partnerships directorate, targeting high-value charitable giving.

Our graduate scheme works across both Fundraising & Marketing and Philanthropy & Partnerships, nurturing a wide range of skills and disciplines in marketing, fundraising and philanthropy. From the beginning you will be working on innovative, business critical work across the whole of this spectrum. Working across the two directorates will expose you to a hugely diverse portfolio of work over the two years; from strategy setting and building innovative new fundraising ideas to working with our marketing and partnership teams to engage with a range of audiences across the UK, encouraging their involvement with our cause.

To succeed as a graduate on our scheme you will have a passion for CRUK and an understanding of the work that these teams do to drive our ambitions. You will be able to demonstrate a consistently strong work ethic with experience working within your chosen field and you won’t be afraid to think big and try new ideas – you will always be looking to learn from the people around you. We put graduates in challenging and exciting roles from the off, so we are heavily invested in your development so you can become a future leader at CRUK. You can find out more about how CRUK develops our graduates here.

Every day we achieve extraordinary things by being sharp, brave and united in our work. If you think you can help us beat cancer sooner, apply today!

Closing date: Sunday 3rd December, 23:55

At CRUK we value diversity and we’re committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone is able to be themselves and to reach their full potential. We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and cultures and believe that a diverse workforce will help us to beat cancer sooner.

Please note, from 2019 we will be relocating from our offices in Islington to a new office space in Stratford, close to the Olympic Park.
